SamLotto 2020 — Analysis: Odds, Prizes, and Payout Trends
Overview
SamLotto 2020 is a version of the SamLotto lottery analysis software (and marketed product) that provides historical-results analysis, hot/cold number reports, wheeling systems, filtering tools, and prediction utilities. It’s used to generate ticket combinations, apply filters to eliminate low-probability tickets, and produce statistical charts (odd/even, low/high, sum, skips, etc.).
Odds
- Fundamental point: SamLotto is an analysis/generation tool — it cannot change the mathematical odds set by each lottery. Odds depend on the game format (e.g., ⁄49, Powerball), not the software.
- What SamLotto does: calculates frequencies, skip patterns, pair/tuple occurrences and simulates combinations so users can:
- Estimate relative frequencies and empirical probabilities from historical draws.
- Compare odds of different play patterns (e.g., wheeling vs random picks).
- Typical produced metrics: hit rates for numbers/pairs, average skip, max skip, empirical probability estimates based on past N draws.
Prizes
- SamLotto does not set prizes. Prize tiers and payouts are determined by lottery operators.
- The software helps users:
- Identify number combinations that historically coincide with smaller-tier wins (e.g., matching ⁄6) so users can target more frequent smaller prizes versus chasing jackpots.
- Track past prize distributions in historical draws (how often jackpot vs secondary prizes paid), but monetary amounts must be looked up per lottery and date.
Payout Trends (what the software reveals)
- Hot/cold patterns: Reports of hot (frequently drawn) and cold numbers, and automatic hot-to-cold rankings. Useful to observe short-term clustering but not evidence of changing fundamental payout structure.
- Skip trends: Charts showing how long numbers skip between appearances;
